2016 was warmer than normal with less snow

The Northern Indiana National Weather Service has issued weather statistics for 2016 that include warmer temperatures and less snow than usual. “The average annual temperature at Fort Wayne International Airport was 52.8 degrees, 2.3 degrees above normal,” stated the report. “This was the fifth warmest year on record. The warmest year on record since 1912 was 53.9 degrees set in 1921.”
