A pair of Bellmont High School students, Allyson McBride and August Tharp, missed lunch and exited the Bellmont campus on Tuesday, but it was all for a good cause as the pair met first with the Adams County Commissioners and were later joined with fellow classmate Ben Cartwright in meeting the Decatur City Council to discuss the logistics of holding a multi-school rally against an “epidemic” of school shootings.
