Cary Blake admitted he had it easy Thursday. His Adams Central softball team was reeling a bit after what Blake called “a horrendous loss” to Carroll one night earlier, but they were making the short ride to Berne to take on their biggest rival, South Adams, which also happened to be undefeated and ranked No. 1 in the Class 2A state poll for the last two weeks.
