Central wins, South Adams falls in sectional openers

The basketball fans that followed their two favorite schools from the southern half of Adams County got their money’s worth as Adams Central was a 26-25 winner over Churubusco and South Adams was a 46-41 loser in overtime to a good Eastside team Tuesday night in the opening round of the Class 2A Eastside girls basketball sectional.
