Holly Degitz, from the Adams County Health Department, appeared before the county council Tuesday and asked for a raise for an employee who had recently received a degree from Ivy Tech. After much discussion, the council approved a 50 cent per hour raise for the employee. Raises were approved for three members of the superior court staff, and new hires and wages were set for both the probation department and the prosecutor’s office.
