Dictionary defines new way of life for Decatur woman
Mary Byer, an art teacher in Decatur, has found a new way to express her artistic talents through a 100-year-old Funk and Wagnalls dictionary. At first, she enjoyed looking at certain words that had a different sense of meaning a century ago and other words that have been accepted for current dictionaries that had no place in the ancient dictionary.
