“Elephant Rock” still anchors monuments on courthouse lawn

A huge boulder that has been named, “Elephant Rock,” over the years, due to its gray color and large size, still anchors the southeast portion of the Adams County Courthouse lawn over 90 years after it was set in place on June 28, 1926.
