Flood-prone properties to benefit from FEMA grant
The Indiana Department of Homeland Security announced on Monday that $676,860 in federal grant money is being used to purchase 10 flood-prone properties in the cities of Decatur and Fort Wayne. Adams County Emergency Management director John August said that of that distribution, six homes are being purchased in flood-prone areas in the Decatur area and four homes are being purchased in Fort Wayne.
