​Area farmers cashed in on the most productive week of this young planting season last week thanks to soil that worked well and nearly perfect weather conditions. Jeff Lehman, of Lehman Feed Mill, said 60-70 percent of the area corn and 25-30 percent of beans are in the ground as a result of last week’s work.
