Both Indiana and Ohio are observing Winter Weather Awareness Week this week according to officials at the National Weather Service office in Syracuse. With the first light dusting of snow possible for this Saturday night and Sunday, Adams County EMA Director John August, representing the United States Homeland Security, recently stressed that he is concerned about county residents’ preparation for winter and the winter storms just around the corner.
