The large interceptor sewer project is “essentially finished,” Decatur Mayor Ken Meyer revealed at the Tuesday night meeting of the Decatur City Council. Project head Bill Slack told the council that the only things that remain are cosmetic touches including some pavement patching and landscaping items. He added that Fleming Excavating should be pulling out in the next few days.
