In spite of the unwelcome invasion of thunderstorms that postponed Friday night’s semi-state football championship by over an hour and a driving rain for the remainder of the evening, the real “swamping” came from the powerful Pioneer offensive line that allowed its offense to mount 342 yards in 57 plays that accounted for a 22-8 Pioneer win.
