A large crowd of between 100 and 200 dignitaries, county employees, and media members attended the second of three open houses and the new Adams County Jail, located off Winchester Street on the south side of Decatur. An earlier open house had been held for contractors and vendors who worked on, or supplied materials to the new structure. A later, public, open house was held on Saturday morning.
