Large crowd turns out for Swiss Days opening

By late Thursday afternoon, parking spaces in Berne were at a premium as a large crowd poured into the downtown area for the opening night of Swiss Days 2016. Good weather supported the opening festivities as Berne Mayor Bill McKean officially declared Swiss Days open during a ceremony at 6:30 p.m.
