Local attorney charged with forgery

On Friday, February 9, Decatur attorney Jill N. Holtzclaw was charged with forgery, a class level 6 felony in connection with a 2017 divorce case. On November 16, 2017, Detective Lieutenant Gary Burkhart with the Adams County Sheriff’s Office was asked to look into a situation involving a court document that supposedly came out of the Adams Circuit Court.
