Monroe Town Council to consider sewer rate hikes

Sewer rates in Monroe could be rising sooner rather than later. Jeff Rowe of Umbaugh and Associates, the firm that advises the town on financial issues, suggested at last night's council meeting that the council may want to raise the rates incrementally ahead of the town's big sewer project.
