Patch resigns as Geneva VFD chief

Geneva fire chief John Patch submitted his resignation at Tuesday’s monthly meeting of the Geneva Town Council. Patch, who has served at the post for seven years, said that assistant Gabe Schwartz would assume responsibilities as new chief at the beginning of 2017.
