SA packs 200,000-plus meals for starving children

The entire student body of South Adams Schools, as well as several hundred members of the community, packed 209,952 meals on Friday, enough to feed 575 children for a year. Organized by teachers Ashley Buckingham and Michael Baer, the mobile food pack was a partnership among several organizations, including Dots in Blue Water, Feed My Starving Children and United Community Outreach (UCO), a group of 10 local churches.
