South Adams counters local offer for school property

The South Adams School Board held a long discussion during their meeting on Tuesday evening regarding two bids made on the school property located at the intersection of US 27 and SR 218. One bid came from Casey’s Marketing Company for $500,000. The second bid came from Biggs Indiana Properties, LLC for $375,000 with $75,000 additional funding being donated to the school by the Berne Community Development Corporation (CDC) for a total of $450,000.
