Weather specialist Rick McCoy said late Sunday that the predicted snow finally materialized late Sunday and was the first of several snow systems expected to pass through the area this week. Late Sunday afternoon, a band of snow moved into Indiana from Illinois and dumped close to an inch of snow in most places as it marched across the state.
