Teeple secures every Scouting merit badge

On Monday night, Zach Teeple, a senior at South Adams, was awarded 27 merit badges at Boy Scout Troop 149’s Court of Honor, which was held at Calvary Lutheran Church in Bluffton. With those awards, Teeple became only the 333rd confirmed scout in Boy Scout history to earn all of the merit badges (137) that the Boy Scouts offer. Only 21 merit badges are required to reach the rank of Eagle.
