Weather officials fairly optimistic about white Christmas

​Weather specialist Rick McCoy said early in December that he looked for fairly good chances for at least snow on the ground on Christmas day. Thursday, McCoy, along with National Weather Service officials, said they see no reason to back away from that possibility.
