Carey L. Moser
Carey L. “Tater” Moser, 52, of Berne passed away on Sunday, July 17, 2016 at the I.U. Medical Center in Indianapolis after a battle with leukemia. He was born on May 3, 1964 in Adams County to Roger and Sue (Liechty) Moser. He was married on May 22, 1999 to Rhonda Tague.
He was most recently employed as a car salesman for Moser Motors in Portland. Earlier, he was employed at Wal-Mart Distribution Center in Gas City and All-American Homes in Decatur. He enjoyed sports and rooted for the Minnesota Vikings and the I.U. Hoosiers. He also enjoyed golfing and fishing.
He is survived by his mother; his wife of Berne; son, Ryan Moser of Decatur; brother, Randy (Mindy) Moser of Tampa, Florida; two nephews, Nicholas and Jeremy Moser; step-mother, Veda Moser of Springdale, Arkansas; and two step-sisters, Michelle (Lee) Chalmers of Fayetteville, Arkansas; and Miranda Viney of Farmington, Arkansas.
He was preceded in death by his father; and step-father, Bert Carlson.
Visitation will be from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, July 22 at Yager-Kirchhofer Funeral Home in Berne and one hour prior to the 10:30 a.m. funeral service on Saturday, July 23 at the Cross Community Church in Berne. Officiating will be Pastor Jerry A. Flueckiger and Pastor Chris Kruchkow. Burial will be at MRE Cemetery in Berne.
