Dawn M. Wanner

Dawn M. Wanner, 58, of rural Geneva passed away on Saturday, November 19, 2016 at her home. She was born on September 1, 1958 in Clearwater, Florida to Donald and Lois (Beattie) Bedford. She was married on October 7, 1978 to Terry D. Wanner.

She was a member of the West Missionary Church in Berne, where she was active in the youth and women's ministries, was a member of the worship team and the church choir, and taught children's Sunday school. She drove bus for 21 years for South Adams Schools. She enjoyed gardening, camping, sewing, motorcycle trips with her husband, and attending her grandchildren's activities.

She is survived by her husband of rural Geneva; two sons, Jed (Sophia) Wanner; and Benjamin (Jeni) Wanner, both of Berne; daughter, Camille Wanner of Berne; three sisters, Laura (Dan) Hockin of Berne; Joann (Gene Walden) Bedford of Manchester, Tennessee; and Janice (Ron) Burns of Decatur; mother-in-law, Rosanna Wanner of Berne; sister-in-law, Kathy Wanner of Fort Wayne; and six grandchildren, Owen, Emerson, Jax, Preston, and Brylee Wanner and a grandson arriving in December.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and father-in-law, Clarence Wanner.

Visitation will be from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 22 at Yager-Kirchhofer Funeral Home in Berne and one hour prior to the 10:30 a.m. funeral service on Wednesday, November 23 at West Missionary Church in Berne. Officiating will be Pastor Keith Rupp. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery near Linn Grove

Memorials may be made to West Missionary Church or Adams County Community Foundation- Cancer Fund.
