Earl J. Moser

Earl J. Moser, 93, of rural Geneva passed away on Thursday, July 28, 2016 at Swiss Village in Berne. He was born on January 26, 1923 in Adams County to Elmer and Fannie (Balsiger) Moser. He was married on August 31, 1945 to Lela Sharp.

He was a lifelong farmer and was employed at Micromatic in Berne for 20 years. He attended West Missionary Church. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and woodworking.

He is survived by his wife; daughter, Celia (James “Ed”) Dunmoyer of Geneva; son-in-law, Roger Terrell of Bluffton; sister, Earlene Moser of Berne; five grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Charlotte Terrell; sister, Dorothy Moser; and brother, Alfred Moser.

Visitation will be from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 2 at Yager-Kirchhofer Funeral Home in Berne and one hour prior to the 10:30 a.m. funeral service on Wednesday, August 3 at West Missionary Church in Berne. Officiating will be Pastor Dean Terrell and Pastor Keith Rupp. Burial will be at MRE Cemetery in Berne.

Memorials may be made to the West Missionary Church.
