Enos D. Schrock

Enos Daniel “Ed” Schrock, 83, of Tempe, Arizona passed away on Thursday, January 4, 2018 at his residence. He was born on January 14, 1934 in Adams County to Noah and Barbara Schrock. He was married for 34 years to Ann Schrock.

He graduated from Adams Central High School in 1952, where he was quite accomplished in sports. Following in his father’s and brother’s footsteps, he soon became a general contractor, building many homes and churches in the county. He and his family were members of the Methodist Church in Monroe.

In July 1970, he moved his wife and three daughters to Tempe, Arizona for health reasons. He continued in residential and commercial construction and remodeling up until a few years ago. He was an avid sportsman, participating in golf, bowling, and softball leagues, and loved watching basketball on all levels of competition, including season tickets at Arizona State University.

He is survived by Ann’s children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren; his previous wife, Pearl Schrock Hart; two daughters, Vikki (Rob) Larchick; and Cheri (Rob) Hewitt; two grandchildren, Michael Larchick; and Melissa Larchick; four great-grandchildren, Breanna Larchick; Kaiyan Larchick; Skylar Larchick; and Ariana Larchick; and two sisters, Marie Ritzert; and Ernestine Lewis. Family members still living in Adams County include Michael Hoffman and Brad Schrock and their families.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Robert and Andrew Schrock; sister, Myrtle Hoffman; daughter, Teresa Schrock Ackerman; and grandson, Matthew Larchick.

This loving man will be missed by many!

The Schrock family held a private gathering to celebrate his life.
