Frances B. Beeler

Frances B. Beeler, 94, of Geneva passed away at 9:37 a.m. on Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at home. She was born on Saturday, February 24, 1923 in Adams County to Russel and Gladys (Pace) Kraner. She was married on Monday, December 31, 1945 in Geneva to Corwin Beeler.

She was a 1941 graduate of Geneva High School and received a degree in 1943 from Fitzsimmons General Hospital in Denver, Colorado. She was employed at Swiss Village in Berne for 20 years as a geriatric tech. She also farmed in Adams County. She was a member of High Street United Methodist Church in Geneva and was a member of the Womens Mission. She was a U.S. Army veteran serving in the Womens Corp.

She is survived by three sons, Robert (Susie) Beeler; and William Beeler, both of Geneva; and Brian Beeler of Story, Wyoming; two daughters, Susan (Beeler) Teeple of Bryant; and Kerry (Mike) Imel of Portland; sister, Elmira (Leo) Bailey of Port Orange, Florida; 10 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband.

Visitation will be from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 27 and one hour prior to the 11:00 a.m. funeral service on Monday, August 28 at Downing & Glancy Funeral Home, 100 N. Washington St., Geneva. Officiating will be Pastor Travis Coblentz. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery in Geneva.
