Ginger L. Hans
Ginger L. Hans, 75, of Greenwood went to be with her Savior Christ Jesus at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at home. She was born on May 17, 1941 in Dayton, Ohio to Clifford Cummins and Louise A. (Shroder) Grube. She was married on August 25, 1961 at Arcanum United Methodist Church in Arcanum, Ohio to John Hans.
She had been a teacher’s aide to special needs children in the New Haven School District and South Adams School District in Adams County. She also volunteered at Community Hospital South in Indianapolis. She attended Southland Community Church in Greenwood. She was involved in women’s prison ministry and also loved teaching Sunday school. She enjoyed her Bible study group, flower ministry, being creative, the outdoors, gardening, flowers, birds, and especially spending time with her husband, children, and grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of Greenwood; two daughters, Regina Hans; and Noelle (Carl) Daniels, both of Fishers; two sons, John (Deb) Hans of Franklin; and Matthew (Shelley) Hans of Fort Wayne; sister, Sue (Bill) Oda of Troy, Ohio; brother, Frank (Jane) Grube of Bradenton, Florida; sister-in-law, Shirley Shroder of Arcanum, Ohio; and thirteen grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Jerry Shroder.
Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, December 9 at Southland Community Church, 5800 West Smith Valley Road, Greenwood. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, December 10 at the church.
