Glenna F. Moser
Glenna F. Moser, 90, of Berne passed away at 5:35 a.m. on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at Swiss Village in Berne. She was born on September 17, 1927 in Berne to Herbert and Elma (Neuenschwander) Sprunger. She was married on October 1, 1944 to James Moser.
She was a member of the First Mennonite Church in Berne and a former member of the Berne Mother’s Club. She was a retired waitress at Palmer House for over 41 years. She also sold magazine subscriptions. She enjoyed reading, cooking, and hosting her family.
She is survived by her daughter, Barbara (Dan) Dawson of Berne; three sons, Ted (Judy) Moser; and Greg (Karen) Moser, both of Berne; and Brian (Kelly) Moser of Linn Grove; 16 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and three step-great-grandchildren
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband on January 24, 2017; step-mother, Mary (Burkhalter) Sprunger; two brothers, Laverne (Lucille) Sprunger; and James (Ruth) Sprunger; and two sisters, Henrietta (Calvin) Nussbaum; and Carolyn (Ed) Merillet.
Visitation will be two hours prior to the 6:00 p.m. funeral service on Friday, December 22 at the First Mennonite Church in Berne. Officiating will be Rev. Jerry Flueckiger. Burial will be at MRE Cemetery in Berne.
Memorials may be made to First Mennonite Church Missions or Camp Gilead – Children’s Bible Mission.
