Helen M. Clark

Helen M. Clark, 96, passed away on Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at Lutheran Life Villages at Pine Valley in Fort Wayne. She was born in Chicago, Illinois to Nels and Sara Christensen. She was married to Rev. David B. Clark for 74 years.

She and her husband were missionaries in Jamaica for many years, retiring in 1985. She was a member of the Northpoint Community Church. 

She is survived by her husband of Fort Wayne; four daughters, Grace P. (Roger) Raker of New Port Richey, Florida;   Barbara A. Luker; and Judith H. (John) Haagen, both of Fort Wayne; and E. Joanne Ummel of Leo; nine grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Eileen M. Steiner; two brothers, Melvin and Charles Christensen; two sisters, Ruth E. Clark; and Esther Olsen; and two grandchildren, Matthew Raker; and Emily Haagen.

Visitation will be from 2:00 to 4:00 and 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 13 at D.O. McComb & Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 East Dupont Road, Fort Wayne and one hour prior to the 11:00 a.m. funeral service on Friday, October 14 at Northpoint Community Church, 10513 Leo Rd, Fort Wayne. Burial will be at Highland Park Cemetery in Fort Wayne. Officiating will be Rev. Tom Swank.

Memorials may be made to World Partners for Kendal Camp Extension in Jamaica.
