Justin C. Fickert

Justin C. Fickert, 37, of Berne passed away on Thursday, May 25, 2017 at his residence. He was born on March 1, 1980 in St. Marys, Ohio to Lloyd and Robin (Martin) Fickert. He was married on May 27, 2006 to Leslie Brandt.

He was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Bryant. He received his Associate’s Degree in CAD and worked as the project manager for O’Neil’s Glass & Glazing in Ft. Wayne. 

He is survived by his parents of Celina, Ohio; his wife of Berne; his son, Zane G. Fickert, age 3; and his daughter, Natalie M. Fickert, age 1, both at home; and a brother, Ryan Fickert of Michigan.

Visitation will be four hours prior to the 2:00 p.m. funeral service on Tuesday, May 30 at First Mennonite Church, 566 W. Main St., Berne. Officiating will be Rev. Jerry Flueckiger. Burial will be at MRE Cemetery in Berne.

His children were his very life, so he and his wife request that in lieu of flowers and other mementos to please consider giving a monetary memorial to Zane and Natalie’s Education Fund.
