Mary K. Linn

Mary K. Linn, 94, Berne passed away at 10:37 a.m. on Sunday, December 3, 2017 at Swiss Village in Berne, where she was a resident. She was born on January 7, 1923 in Darke County, Ohio to Jacob and Virgle Della (Moody) Hiestand. She married on January 23, 1946 to Leo G. Linn.

She was a member of the First Missionary Church. She was a homemaker and assisted her husband on the farm. She enjoyed playing cards, quilting and loving her family, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by three daughters, Sandra (Don) Myers of Berne; Brenda Ziminsky of Pendelton; and Connie (Bruce) Fisher of Oldtown, Florida; son, Gary (Dana) Linn of Celina, Ohio; eight grandchildren, Judson Myers, Chad Myers, Paul Linn, Alan Fisher, Tom Linn, Samantha Snyder, Caleb Ziminsky, and Casey Ziminsky; and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and sister, Lucille McCullough.

Visitation will be three hours prior to the 1:00 p.m. funeral service on Friday, December 8 at the Swiss Village Auditorium in Berne. Officiating will be Pastor Dathen Foust and Pastor Max Haines. Burial will be at 4:00 p.m. at Swamp College Cemetery in rural Celina.
