Mary N. Schwartz

Mary N. Schwartz, 77, of rural Geneva passed away on Saturday, April 15, 2017 at her home. She was born on November 29, 1939 in Adams County to Noah H. and Elizabeth (Schwartz) Schwartz. She was married on May 30, 2010 to Raymond M. Schwartz.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Old Order Amish Church.

She is survived by her husband; five step-sons, Raymond (Dehlia) Schwartz of Berne; and Jake (Margaret) Schwartz; William Schwartz; Nathaniel Schwartz; and Marvin (Susan) Schwartz, all of Geneva; eight step-daughters, Mary (Sam) Girod; and Becky (William) Byler, both of Salem; Lizzy (Joe) Girod of Berne; Katie (Ernest) Eicher of Portland; and Lucy (Ernest) Girod; Mandy (Jake) Wickey; Sarah Schwartz; and Bertha (Jacob) Wickey, all of Geneva; three sisters, Clara Eicher of Berne; Barbara Stutzman of New Albany; and Melina Hilty of Hicksville, Ohio; four brothers, Reymond (Emma) Schwartz of Geneva; and Carl Schwartz; Elmer (Elizabeth) Schwartz; and Menno (Fannie) Schwartz, all of Monroe; 91 grandchildren; and 101 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Reuben Schwartz; and sister, Esther Hilty.

Visitation was from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 16 and will be from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, April 17 at the residence, 9261S 150W, Geneva. Funeral services will be at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 18 at the residence. Officiating will be Bishop Ernest B. Girod. Burial will be at Bunker Hill Cemetery in Geneva.
