Norman L. Logan
Norman L. “Norm” Logan, 83, of Decatur passed away on Saturday, August 13, 2016 at Adams Memorial Hospital in Decatur. He was born on Thursday, August 3, 1933 in Jay County to Glenn and Josephine (Thomas) Logan. He was married on October 19, 1957 at the Macklin Methodist Church to Diane Houser.
He was a graduate of Bryant High School Class of 1951. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict serving his county in the United States Army. He was a member of the Decatur Church of God. He retired from Central Soya in 1996 after 45 years of service.
He is survived by his wife of Decatur; two sons, Brad (Kelly) Logan; and Greg (Gina) Logan, both of Decatur; sister, Janet Echemendia of Fort Wayne; brother, Neil Logan of New Orleans, Louisiana; nine grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and grandson-in-law, Tim Bowers.
Visitation will be from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 16 at Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home in Decatur. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, August 17 at the funeral home. Officiating will be Pastor Jerry Mitchel. Burial will be at Decatur Cemetery.
Military graveside services will be conducted by the American Legion Post #43 of Decatur.
