Patricia A. Meyer

Patricia A. Meyer, 79 of Fort Wayne went to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 21, 2017. She was the daughter of Lavire and Inez Patterson. She was married on April 8, 1972 to her best friend Stanley Meyer. They shared 45 wonderful years together. 

She loved to garden, tend to her flowers, and spend time with grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She worked as a food service supervisor for many years. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a member of Grabill Missionary Church. 

She is survived by her husband of Fort Wayne; son, David (Chandra) Meyer of New Haven; two daughters, Vicki (David) Schaber of Harlan; and Danielle (Paul) VonBank of Fort Wayne; sister, Shelby (Marvin) Zimmerman of Berne; brother, Larry (Jennie) Patterson of Decatur; eight grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; and many cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Robert Patterson; and sister, Marilyn Patterson.

Visitation will be from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 27 and one hour prior to the 11:00 a.m. funeral service on Thursday, December 28 at Grabill Missionary Church, 13637 State St., Grabill. Burial will be at MRE Cemetery in Berne.
