Shirley G. Richwine

Shirley G. Richwine, 88, a longtime resident of Bluffton, passed away on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at Swiss Village in Berne. She was born on February 8, 1930 in Saybrook, Illinois to Lyle John and Alda Jeanette (Crawford) Harsha. She was married on September 23, 1950 in Berne to Donald C. Richwine.

She graduated from Salem Center High School in 1948 and was then a homemaker. She is a member of the Bluffton First Church of the Nazarene.

She is survived by her husband; two sons, Larry Don (Rozetta) Richwine of Portland; and Chester Lyle (Georgeann) Richwine of Tacoma, Washington; daughter, Dolly Mae (Steve) Mrowinski of Villa Park, Illinois; brother, Donald (Margaret Ann) Harsha of Berne; four grandchildren, Saiward (Jonathan) Brown; Hannah Mrowinski; Leah Mrowinski; and Treva Engleson; and four great-grandchildren, Mike, Zeke, Sam and Keegan Brown.                 

She was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Charlotte (Harsha) Weimer.

A memorial visitation will be held from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 8 at the Swiss Village Chapel in Berne.

Memorials may be made to Bluffton Church of the Nazarene or Swiss Village.
