Willodyne F. Luginbill

Willodyne F. Luginbill, 92, of Berne passed away on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at Swiss Village in Berne, where she was a resident. She was born on August 6, 1925 in Adams County to Joel and Cora (Winteregg) Neuenschwander. She was married on December 22, 1946 to Harry Luginbill.

She was a member of the West Missionary Church, where she was an active member. She was a youth sponsor and taught children's Sunday school. She was employed at Dunbar Furniture and Swiss City Furniture as a seamstress. Later, she was self-employed making hundreds of doll dresses and outfits.

She is survived by her son, Ronald (Sarah) Luginbill of Peru; three daughters, Ronnette (William) Armstrong of Fort Wayne; Susan (Robert) Dubach of rural Geneva; and Jeanie Rupp of Anderson; two sisters, Floine (George) Dynes of Berne; and Marjorie (Bill) Simon of rural Berne; 14 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; three sisters, Ramona Schwartz; Vergene Yake; and Ellowyne Schindler; three brothers, Sherman, Delmar, and LeDale Neuenschwander; and granddaughter, Emily Luginbill.

Visitation will be two hours prior to the 1:00 p.m. funeral service on Monday, December 18 at the Swiss Village Auditorium in Berne. Officiating will be Pastor Keith Rupp. Burial will be at MRE Cemetery in Berne.

Memorials may be made to the West Missionary Church or Swiss Village Samaritan Fund.
