Berne water continues to test well below EPA regulations
Berne water superintendent John Crider updated the city council on the readings of city water as required by the Environmental Protection Agency at Monday night’s meeting. “The most contaminant level allowed is 15,” said Crider. “Ours is .0017 out of 20 samples. For all practical purposes, that means that we are so far below EPA requirements that it is practically nothing.
