Patriots unseat Starfires in ACAC track meet

BLUFFTON — Jay County won four events and placed twice in 11 of 12 individual events to win the Allen County Athletic Conference girls’ track and field championship meet Friday night at Bluffton High School. The Patriots scored 151.5 points, beating defending champion South Adams by 29 points. Adams Central took fifth with 64.5 points. Bluffton won eight events in the boys’ meet and won with 151 points. South Adams, winner of three events, took second with 115.5 points. Adams Central finished fourth with 70.5 points.
