Roger Kottlowski of Commonwealth Engineering told a large group attending the South Adams Trails annual meeting on Thursday evening that there is a good possibility that the construction of the first phase of the trail could begin in June. Kottlowski said that the next step in the process is a pre-construction meeting, which is scheduled to happen in a couple of weeks. He noted that actual construction could begin by the end of June. “We hope to see the contractor begin in Geneva by the end of June,” said Kottlowski.
